BEDNAR continues to make progress by exporting machines to the Australian market. The specific conditions for each and every market are so different, that cooperation with a local importer in a market on this scale is crucial. BEDNAR had already started negotiations at the SIMA exhibition in Paris and continues to do so for the start of the Australian season.
Today the most significant exhibition of agricultural machinery in the world the ‘Agritechnica 2013’ got underway in Hanover, Germany. The BEDNAR stand is situated in Hall 11, Stand C21 . The company is only exhibiting under the new company name BEDNAR, and is also presenting a number of new products including a new range of OMEGA seed drills.
BEDNAR FMT, a progressive manufacturer from the Czech Republic presents 4 newcomers for 2014 at the Agritechnika exhibition. The most important additions were the brand new combi seed drill OMEGA, system of soil fertilization with large volume hopper Ferti-Box, the robust ATLAS HO disk harrow (a totally new concept) and the TERRALAND DO combined machine (discs and tines) which uses ridge-till technology.
Up until recently it was almost impossible to conduct efficient stubble cultivation, ensuring the crop residue was adequately mixed as well as removing the plough pan by using just one machine. The huge amount of effort put in by the Strom-Bednar design team has recently paid off with the presentation of a compact cultivator with its main advantage being its considerable versatility.
The largest outdoor show in France was held in the south of the country this year in a place called Ondes close to the city of Toulouse where thousands of french farmers were welcomed to the show.
One of the first ever BEDNAR summer demonstrations in France, took place in the village Les Morillons close to Saint-Martin-des-Champs. The farmer Mr. Cosmes wanted to test the SwifterDisc XO6000F short disc cultivator after the barley harvest. Once out in the field the brand new machine attracted other farmers who were just passing by on the main road next to field and the new disc cultivator showed us all why it is going to be so popular on french fields.
Atlas 5000 was demonstrated in four different situations across three farms. The most impressive demonstration was into grass seed stubble in South Canterbury in rolling fields often referred to in New Zealand as downs country with very good soil for cropping and good drainage as well as the water can drain away on the slopes, in this situation ...
The second year of the STROM-BEDNAR Field Day took place on June 26th and is traditionally held on the fields of the ZS SLOVEC (large farm in the Czech Republic). However this year that seemed to be out of the question due to the torrential rainfall which made the life of all Central Europeans a complete misery for more than three days. Despite these extreme conditions, that did not suit the field day one iota, a friendly gathering took place in a heated tent which covered a surface of 600m² with a solid floor and a large screen with a specialized programme...
